Delivering inexpensive & healthy food from the Islington Farmers Market

Cally Timebank offers participants an opportunity to eat healthy, local food from the Islington Farmers market...at a discount price. Participants can spend their cally time credits on the deliver service. A farmer from Buckinghamshire offers us some of his surplus stock to be distributed to time bank members.

Would you like some healthy fresh food?

All you need to do is join the time bank - fill out the online joining form or call Ann or Kirsty on 020 7 607 9453. If you do any work that helps the local community or environment you will earn time credits and you can spend time your credits on this local farmers' market food.

Volunteers wanted

If you are willing to spend an hour or so helping to collect or distribute food on a Sunday or Monday please contact Kirsty on 020 7 607 9453 (or email: kirsty@islington-foe.freeserve.co.uk)

The food is collected from the market (opposite Islington Green) at around 2pm on a Sunday afternoon.

The food is distributed to members at a number of locations in the timebank area on Sunday & Monday: Culpeper Gardens, Westbourne Estate & Hilldrop Community centre.

We would especially like to offer food to members in disadvantaged groups such as indivuduals who have a low income or who are housebound.
